Not really an exciting week, but looking ahead to next week. The crazy part is even a dull week seems packed with events and lots of other craziness. Every Wednesday Night I get the opportunity to serve at the AWANA ministry at my church, and man is it cool to see just 4-5 year old who have such strong faith! The semester is wrapping up which gets me so excited because Thanksgiving is just a few days away which means I will be in Colorado! Last Thanksgiving our youth group went up to Denver and spent Thanksgiving weekend working at the distribution center for Operation Christmas Child and this year i get the opportunity again! I am a little disappointed I won't get to see a lot of my family that's is coming home for over the weekend though!Since i'm the youngest of nine there is a big gap between the youngest (me) and my oldest brother Phil, and my two other brothers and their wives are coming home from Oklahoma. Thankfully I got to see them last weekend so at least i'm not totally missing out. I will miss getting to see my youngest niece though! they get so big so fast, it's crazy! So this week i'm finishing up my 4th year in Gold Orchestra. So ready to be done for good but next year then i'm done! We had our Junction City Concert..it went okay, one more and then the school tour! So this summer i went to a training to be able to share the gospel with Kids in an effect way at a camp called cyia and I got to put my training to use at youth goup last night teaching my very first lesson in front of my peers, It was a little bit nerve racking but I surprisingly wasn't that nervous. Definitely a God thing!

You look beautiful in your photo! Sounds like God is giving you lots of opportunities to share the gospel. I would love to hear how the Operation Christmas Child distribution goes! My family has participated in the program in the past.
ReplyDeleteHave a Happy Thanksgiving, even though you won't get to see your family (I won't get to see mine, either, but I will be with my husband's family, which is wonderful, too!).
